Metal Braces

The modern metal braces of today are nothing like they used to be. Damon

Damon braces are new variation of braces that utilize a special system called “sliding-door” technology or “self-ligation”. This means the wires used to straighten the teeth can slide back and more easily, making treatment more comfortable for teenager and adults. In contrast to conventional braces, Damon braces don’t require any elastic or steel ties, and the lessened friction of the Damon system makes it possible to reduce treatment times and the number of adjustments that patients need. These braces are available in both standard metal and clear ceramic forms.

 

Invisalign® Clear Aligners

The Invisalign Clear Aligners takes are a discreet alternative to braces. While still using the same method of applying concentrated pressure on the teeth to move them, Invisalign gets rid of the brackets and wire, and replaces them with a sets of clear plastic aligners. Each aligner is custom molded to your teeth, and will gradually move your teeth until they form the perfect smile. The aligners are not only completely removable, but they’re also practically invisible while you wear them. Not all patients are eligible for such treatment, so ask if you are a candidate for the Invisalign Clear Aligner system.

Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are a completely invisible braces solution. Instead of the brackets and wires being placed on the front of your teeth, they are placed behind the teeth. Due to the fact that you can’t see the braces at all, lingual braces are another orthodontic treatment type that is very popular among adults.
